The Rice Synthetic Biology Institute (RSBI) aims to catalyze collaborative synthetic biology research and its translation into technologies that benefit society. Significant contributions to the institute’s mission by Rice faculty members and Rice principal investigators are recognized by RSBI membership. A total of three (3) membership categories have been established: Core Members, Affiliate Members, and External Members.
Become a member! We welcome new and existing Rice faculty and PIs to join as an institute member. To be considered for membership, candidates must review the membership terms and conditions, complete the following form, and provide an updated full CV. The RSBI Executive Committee will review applications upon collecting feedback from Core faculty members and will notify candidates of their decision within 2 weeks.
